BSGTR - Firstly, what do you know about Turkey?

LC - I only know the little bits that I learned while studying history in high school. I know that your city of Istanbul was formerly known as Constantinople and was the seat of power for the Byzantine/Ottoman Empire. I know Turkey is predominantly a Muslim nation yet, due to its geographical location, is considered a historical/cultural bridge between the East and the West.

BSGTR - How did you feel when you heard you got fan's here?

LC - I still can't believe I have any fans at all. I'm such a minor player in BSG that it really is overwhelming to see so much support for my character. It's simply fantastic!

BSGTR - How did you involved on Battlestar Galactica, did you join the auditions?

LC - I didn't attend any auditions. I started out in the movie industry just doing extra work part-time. My agent called me up one morning and asked if I'd like to work on the BSG pilot since they had a no-show that morning. I jumped right out of bed and told my agent that I'd do it for free (kidding, of course). I've been a big BSG fan since I was a little kid and it was a unique opportunity to work on part of that legacy. When BSG got picked up for the first season I was forunate enough to get featured as a regular in the second episode (where I play cards with Baltar and Starbuck). It's been a great four seasons since then.

BSGTR - What is the toughest thing to do on bsg stage?

LC - Despite what most people may think it is really difficult to act, and interact, with the cast when you're not really allowed to say anything. It would be much easier to have some dialogue that would encourage the creativity to unfold rather than just having me nod or shake my head, but then they would have to make me part of the cast and my pay grade would go up considerably.

BSGTR - Will the fans have the possibility of seeing your character in 4th season much more than the previous
seasons? Will they find who your character really is or you keep staying in the backround?

LC - Now that the fourth season is nearly over most of you have probably already noticed my character popping up occasionally. Generally, as a rule of thumb, if you see Starbuck somewhere then I'm not too far away.
I also make a brief cameo in the BSG movie "The Plan", which should be aired after season four ends. I can't reveal too much about BSG since it is still airing but you can see me in an upcoming big budget film called "2012". I have a small role as a Chinese army officer. And yes, I do have lines ;)

BSGTR - Even if its a Sci-fi production we know that all the stuff going on is familiar with Naval
Air Crafts, So did you ever talk or observe real naval aviators?

LC - I come from a military family where my father's generation was the first to not pursue a military career. Many of my father's friends continued to serve in the military in Taiwan. I was fortunate to gain some of that military knowledge and discipline growing up in that environment. When I was a teenager I did spend about three months in the Canadian Air Cadets but quit when I got bored of marching all the time :P

BSGTR - Do you want to visit Turkey someday? Any messages for your fan's in Turkey?

LC - I would love to visit Turkey one day. As a matter of fact one of my favorite restaurants to go to is a local Turkish restaurant called Anapolis Gate. I usually order a pide, wrap and a Turkish coffee. If I ever go to Turkey I expect you all to take me out to eat ;)
